  5. Happy 4th! I’ll always be happy to celebrate what you do, even if it’s not on an anniversary.

Your questions really made me look at how this year has been for me. I already knew that my reading had definitely taken a downturn this year. So much upheaval really wrecked my ability to immerse in some books the way I wanted to. It feels like the end of March I finally felt like I’m hitting my stride again.

Some brights spots (of color) this year would be when I did the readathon in January and I read History is All You Left Me and Shame the Stars. I also had two audiobook reads that were wonderful, One Man Guy and Timekeeper.

I have so many I’m looking forward to right now, including some that came out last year that I haven’t gotten to yet, but tops on my list right now are The Hate U Give, Want, The Inexplicable Logic of My Life, and the twin novellas of The Black Tides of Heaven and The Red Threads of Fortune.

Thank you for the giveaway and all you do all year round to highlight the beautiful spectrum of writers and books for us.

  6. I’m still waiting for my libraries copy of “The Hate You Give”, that’s what I’m most excited for.

I also just discovered your website the other day and it’s be so helpful, I love it! I’m a Teen Library Specialist and it is definitely making me a better librarian and reader, so congrats on four years! I hope for many more.
