Summer’s almost here! (At least, for me. Sorry to all the lovely people not experiencing summer right now.) And that means ice cold popsicles, wearing flip flops constantly, and tackling my summer reading. There are so many excellent books that came out this year, so my to-read pile is a mile high. Here’s what’s at the very top:

11 00 p.m.: Jack is sneaking into a fancy hotel, on assignment for his tabloid job that he keeps secret from his parents. On his way out of the hotel, he runs into a girl wearing slippers, a girl who is single-mindedly determined to find a hamburger. She looks kind of familiar. She’s very cute. He’s maybe curious.

Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me by Mariko Tamaki, Rosemary Valero-O’Connell

Not Your Backup (Sidekick Squad #3) by C.B. Lee
