There were so many amazing books that came out in 2018! I have to shout-out the following titles:
The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo (congrats on the National Book Award win!)
The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang
Check, Please!: #Hockey by Ngozi Ukazu
The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang
Sleepless Volume 1 by Sarah Vaughn, Leila del Duca, and Alissa Salah
I know there were many more, but there’s only so much reading time in the day. 🙂
Loved The Belles and Check, Please!
Wow, that’s a tough one!
I loved A Thousand Beginnings and Endings edited by Ellen Oh, and Amal Unbound by Aisha Saeed, and can’t leave out From Twinkle with Love by Sandhya Menon
Definitely “Dread Nation” by Justina Ireland
