movie news

As far as YA movie and TV adaptations go, this summer has been pretty darn exciting! It honestly feels like there was news dropping every week. In case you missed it, here are the highlights:

The Netflix sequel to To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, aka P.S. I Still Love You is premiering on February 12, 2020 — mark your calendars! And on top of that, the third book adaptation, Always and Forever, Lara Jean is in production. Head over to author Jenny Han’s twitter to watch the adorable announcement video.

Have you read Elizabeth Acevedo’s novel With the Fire on High? If you haven’t, you definitely want to get on that. (And read The Poet X while you’re at it!) The movie rights for this incredible, award-winning novel have been acquired. I’m definitely waiting with bated breath for more movie news. For more on this, go here.

As for Children of Blood and Bone, the movie adaptation is with Lucasfilm and the scriptwriter has been announced to be Kay Oyegun. It’s promising news! For more on the Children of Blood and Bone adaptation, click here.
