One book this week

We have one book on our radar this week–what about the rest of you?

way The Way to Game the Walk of Shame by Jenn P. Nguyen
Macmillan/Swoon Reads

Taylor Simmons is screwed.

Things were hard enough when her single-minded dedication to her studies earned her the reputation of being an Ice Queen, but after getting drunk at a party and waking up next to bad boy surfer Evan McKinley, the entire school seems intent on tearing Taylor down with mockery and gossip.

Desperate to salvage her reputation, Taylor persuades Evan to pretend they’re in a serious romantic relationship. After all, it’s better to be the girl who tames the wild surfer than just another notch on his surfboard. — Cover image and summary via Goodreads

  1. I know you cant really judge a book til you read it.
but this don’t sound like good book for me.

I don’t think ppl should lie or “pretend” to date somebody they dont love. I get that ppl (not just teens, all ages) do lie bout sex, romance sometimes

for their pride, or their rep, or whatev reason. but I had casual flings in high school. Later I learn that having sex w/ somebody u love feels diff. from hookup.

I cant explain it, sex truly does feel nicer, get more O’s etc.
when you doin’ it w/ person you love + care about

and your boyfriend, partner, etc. feels same bout you.

(hope this not crude or TMI. mods dont gotta approve post if it don’t fit standards?)

PS its ok if your opinion diff. from mine. every one has own thoughts, ideas bout topics. thanks
